Without reading and comprehending words, all other advanced learning is either non−existent or extremely difficult. Therefore, making sure your children learn this skill at a young age should be a top priority for parents. Parents who love to read and are seen by their children enjoying books and other reading materials are already setting a good stage for their children.

An alphabet puzzle is definitely an effective way to teach your kid the ABC mainly because it allows him to visualize the letters inside alphabet although placing them along in order. For this game you will have to have large foam alphabet puzzle pieces. Instruct your child to put the puzzle jointly making sure that the alphabet is in correct order. He can not match two incorrect alphabet letters next to each other expected on the various puzzle piece shapes. Permit your child to run through the puzzle the moment as demo. Then, have him put the puzzle along again though you time him having a stopwatch. Play the puzzle game daily and time him each time till his score will get better and better.

That's the reason why parents send their children to day care schools though others prefer pre schooling them at home which is more practical and cheaper. Either of the both can be a good start for a child to be nurtured and develop. In addition to their pre schooling they give their children a chance to explore the world of art and music. It has been observed that most children who learn music lessons such as piano, violin, guitar and even voice culturing proved to be smarter than those who didn't. Parents believe that if a child practices everything, he will be able to do many things when he grows up.

Well I guess you′ve seen that on your child′s latest coloring book. I believe that is the beauty of this activity. Children are not bound to rules. They just use whatever color they like and apply it on the picture. As a preschool teacher, I recommend that you just let your child color the way he/she likes it. As mush as possible, refrain from instructing what colors to use. Or worse, criticize them. Instead, let them develop their creativity and imagination by giving them free reign on what colors to use. Anyways, there′s plenty of time of them to follow rules when they grow up. For now, let′s just let them be creative.

Along with adrenaline, cortisol gives you the energy and clarity to take quick action and get yourself out of danger, if you are in danger. However, for many people in the modern world, our high‐stress lives result in many people having heightened cortisol levels. Our bodies weren′t meant to have these levels of cortisol levels, and it can cause some imbalances. Our bodies are made to have elevated levels of cortisol only rarely, and only for a short amount of time. After we are safe again, cortisol levels are supposed to go back down.

But this doesn′t mean printing and sticking‐up random pictures around the room; it′s the colors used within the images that help with the revision process. For example, an image of a sky will inevitably incorporate lots of blue, and the color blue is known to be calming and to boost creativity – both of which are important during revision. Or red, which is associated with adrenaline and correction, encourages both awareness and vigilance, in turn boosting memory and recall. Different pictures may be relevant at different stages of revision. Red may be more appropriate in the thick of revision, whilst your child is trying to absorb as much information as possible, whereas blue may be more beneficial in the days leading up to exams to keep stress levels low.

This is especially important for kids who have no other outlet for negative emotions. There are kids who find it hard to process their frustrations and negative emotions and coloring can help them vent. This is due to the fact that they will concentrate on finishing the pictures in the coloring pages, which helps them learn how to relax and stay calm. It is a healthy act of processing their confused and unpleasant feelings through a simple process of coloring.

It doesn′t require much thinking‐ you just pick a color, after that everything is already mechanical. That′s one of the reasons why teachers use this as a quiet time activity. In that brief moment, when your child is so focused on coloring, notice that his/her breathing is calmer and even. This is especially true for preschoolers. Coloring helps them cool down after an exhausting or exciting activity. Or when they are too excited for an upcoming event‐ say a trip, and they are too restless, I recommend coloring as a way to calm them down.

A child makes an imaginary world in his mind before drawing the picture on the sheet. So, hand your kids a box of crayons and set them free. This can lead to many highly desired outcomes. It allows your children to think about the different color combinations that he or she can use to give an appealing look to the picture. Do not fret if your kids are not coloring properly or if he is coloring outside the lines. Praise them for his effort. If you see your kids making mistakes while coloring, help them with it instead of chiding. Teach him how to fill a space and do up and down stroke. You can also teach him to use complementary colors to make the picture appear more vibrant. Coloring is also an excellent medium of expression. Children often express their personality through drawing and coloring.
