Letter Match can be a game in which your child need to match the uppercase letter to the suitable lowercase letter on a worksheet. Create a worksheet with two columns of letters. One column should have uppercase letters along with the second column should have all lowercase letters. Your child will use a crayon to draw a line from your "A" on the "a," etc. To make the worksheet additional fascinating and stimulating, draw pictures next to the letters of images that get started with that letter.
There are hundreds if not thousands of free printable worksheets available online. These are ideal for filling time or keeping the kids busy on a rainy day, but few of them offer a systematic set of worksheets with activities designed to teach your children a specific set of skills. If education is your aim, you may have to spend a little to get useful, comprehensive worksheets that actually help your child to learn.
Children don't only need to recognize and sound out letters, but they also need to learn to print the letters of the alphabet. You can do this on your own by just printing a sample of a letter and have your child copy it. However, some children need a little extra help in forming the letters and really benefit from tracing over letters several times before trying to do it without a template. Luckily, there are lots of resources online where you can print these letter tracing templates. If your child starts to get frustrated, then take a break. You want them to have fun learning and be supportive of the whole journey.
